New Campaign Runs Through October 2
@binance has launched another four-week leg of its USD1 stablecoin airdrop, keeping the program alive through October 2, 2026. The new campaign window runs from September 4 through October 2, with 150 million $WLFI tokens distributed across weekly payouts. Users who maintain a net positive USD1 balance across eligible account types, including Spot, Funding, Margin, and USD1-margined Futures accounts, qualify for a proportional share of each weekly distribution. There is no individual cap on rewards.
The estimated annualized yield sits at around 6%, though it is paid in $WLFI tokens rather than in USD1 or dollars. That means the actual return depends on WLFI's market price at the time of distribution and whenever the holder decides to sell.A 1.2x bonus multiplier is available for certain accounts based on collateral holdings, pushing the effective boosted APR to approximately 6.33% based on recent campaign disclosures.
A Shrinking Pool, but a Persistent Program
The 150 million $WLFI token pool for this round is smaller than earlier campaigns in 2026. Binance offered 178 million WLFI tokens during a June-to-July extension and a larger 235 million WLFI pool back in February and March. The previous round, which wraps on September 4, carried a pool of 170 million tokens.
Binance has been running variations of the USD1 airdrop program since early 2026, making it one of the exchange's most persistent incentive campaigns in recent memory.World Liberty Financial, the issuer behind USD1, benefits from the arrangement as well. Distributing $WLFI governance tokens through Binance's user base is an efficient way to broaden token ownership while building a holder community.
USD1 is issued by World Liberty Financial, a DeFi platform associated with the Trump family. The stablecoin is 100% backed by short-term US government treasuries, US dollar deposits, and other cash equivalents.USD1 drew widespread attention in mid-2025 when Abu Dhabi's MGX fund used the stablecoin to settle a $2 billion deal to acquire a minority stake in Binance, pushing USD1's circulation past $2 billion within months.
