In the dynamic landscape of cryptocurrencies, NEAR Protocol, XRP, Zcash, and Chainlink are currently at pivotal price levels, signaling potential shifts in their market trajectories. As trading volumes witness a downturn, these digital assets seek direction, with some maintaining upward trends while others struggle to reclaim critical support levels.

NEAR and XRP Teeter on Edge of Sideways Movement

NEAR Protocol, trading around $4.94, has experienced a rapid retracement after peaking at $6.00 on October 12, reflecting increased selling pressure. Despite this, NEAR maintains a more than threefold increase since its August low of approximately $1.60, indicating that its primary trend remains largely intact.

NEAR’s critical support lies at $4.65, which, if breached, could heighten short-term pressure, whereas overcoming $5.20 could pave the way for recovery.

Key resistance and support levels are delineated at $5.20, $5.60, and the recent $6.00 high.

Meanwhile, XRP hovers around $1.346, clinging to its moving average near $1.34. The digital asset has recoiled 19% from its late September highs around $1.66, facing resistance between $1.38 and $1.42 despite intermittent buying interest near $1.31. Gradually declining volumes contribute to XRP’s indecisive market stance, with a daily close above $1.39 essential to shift from its current sideways trajectory.

Zcash at Decision Point Following Sharp Correction

Zcash currently trades near $1,199, having plummeted about 30% from its late September high of $1,700. Despite the pronounced pullback, the moving average near $1,190 has twice served as a support, with buyers buoying prices from depths of $1,115-$1,120.

A daily close above $1,285 could be the first strong indicator of ending the prevailing downtrend for Zcash.

Nonetheless, recent recovery attempts were stifled around $1,230 and $1,285, coupled with a noticeable reduction in trading volume compared to earlier surges. The daily RSI at 45 suggests diminishing momentum but not yet reaching oversold conditions.

Maintaining support at $1,190 may enable Zcash to retest $1,285, while a break below could expose a significant support zone around $990, implying an additional potential retreat of approximately 17% from current levels.

Chainlink is trading close to $12.46, a substantial 21% depreciation from its late September peak of $15.75. The convergence of short-term moving averages around $12.45 is proving pivotal in determining its short-term outlook. Price dips to $12.05 in early October and $12.20 this week attracted buying, yet the lack of robust responses and repeated sell-offs point to constrained buyer strength, compounded by declining volumes. A daily close beneath $12.05 could usher in targets at $11.40 and subsequently $10.85, while a recovery would require reclaiming $13.10, potentially opening the path to retest $13.50 and $14.00.
