Ondo Finance has joined DTCC's Fund/SERV platform, becoming the first tokenization company to gain membership in the system that processes more than 85% of U.S. mutual fund transaction activity, the two companies announced on September 16.
DTCC, or the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation, is the backbone of the U.S. financial system's post-trade infrastructure, it handles the clearing, settlement and record-keeping behind trillions of dollars in securities transactions every day.

Fund/SERV is the specific platform within DTCC that connects mutual fund companies, wealth platforms and service providers, handling everything from transaction confirmations and reconciliation to tax and regulatory reporting.
The membership was granted to Oasis Pro Markets, Ondo's subsidiary that operates as a U.S. registered broker-dealer and distributor of tokenized investment products.
One connection instead of thousands
The significance is distribution. Before this, getting a tokenized fund in front of traditional financial advisers and wealth platforms would have required building separate integrations with each distributor individually.
Through Fund/SERV, Oasis Pro Markets can now transact with fund companies, wealth platforms and service providers through a single standardized connection, the company said. That opens a direct pathway for Ondo's tokenized funds to reach the same distribution channels that traditional mutual funds already use.
Trending on TheStreet Roundtable:
"Through a single standardized connection, Ondo's subsidiary Oasis Pro Markets can transact with fund companies, wealth platforms, and service providers without requiring separate integrations," said Ian De Bode, Acting CEO and President of Ondo Finance.
Infrastructure before scale
DTCC's Talia Klein, Managing Director and Head of Wealth and Investment Solutions, framed the move as part of a broader strategy to support tokenized assets and connect traditional infrastructure with digital finance.
Ondo currently holds over $3.5 billion in total value locked across its products, lists more than 440 tokenized securities through Ondo Stocks, and counts BlackRock, Franklin Templeton and JPMorgan's Kinexys among its institutional partners.
The DTCC membership adds the last missing layer, the plumbing that connects tokenized products to the advisers and platforms that actually distribute funds at scale.
