Pi Network Completes SLICE Distribution for Pioneers
Pi Launchpad distributed 10 million SLICE test tokens after the participation ran from June 11 to June 28. More than 242,000 Pioneers committed 15.92 million Test-Pi during the process. The project used those results to test a simpler allocation system.
Users can now view individual allocations inside the Pi Browser. The interface also shows launch prices, effective prices, liquidity pool access, and SLICE performance against Test-Pi. These additions let participants follow post-launch activity within the Launchpad app.
The SLICE token connects to Slice of Pi, a working third-party game. That link allows Pi Network to study engagement bonuses through a live application. The team says SLICE will remain on Testnet and will never transfer to Mainnet.
The test follows the first Launchpad experiment, which attracted more than 478,000 participants. Feedback led to a clearer commitment process and an automatically calculated fair-access hold.
How SLICE Liquidity Pools Build Testnet Market Skills?
The SLICE token pool contains SLICE and Test-Pi. It uses an automated market maker to adjust prices as users complete swaps. Buying SLICE adds Test-Pi and removes SLICE. Selling creates the opposite balance.
A constant-product formula manages those reserve changes. The model keeps the product of both reserves stable before fees. As one reserve falls, the other must rise. This changes the displayed SLICE price after each transaction.
Pi Network presents the system as a learning tool for decentralized finance. Pioneers can see the impact of liquidity, demand, and reserve balances on price. The new chart makes those changes easier to track during Testnet activity.
The update also provides usage data before any Mainnet token launch. Yet the SLICE token does not reduce Pi Coin supply. It also does not create direct buying demand for the native asset. That limits its immediate role as a price catalyst.
Pi Network Price Holds Near Support as Supply Pressure Grows
Pi Coin price briefly traded near $0.083 after the announcement, but the four-hour structure stays bearish. Price remains below a falling 200-period moving average near $0.159. Lower highs and lower lows define the medium-term trend.

The first support range sits between $0.080 and $0.082. A break below that area could expose $0.070 to $0.073. Immediate resistance stands near $0.090 to $0.095, followed by $0.100 to $0.105, TradingView data showed.
As per the TradingView data, the four-hour RSI near 32 sits below the neutral 50 level. A recovery above 45 could show improving demand. A move below 30 could signal another selloff before buyers return.
Supply remains the main risk within current Pi Coin news. Around 127 million PI tokens were scheduled to unlock over a 30-day period, PiScan data showed. More general estimates project releases of over 1.2 billion PI in 2026.
Those tokens will need to be taken up by the market in a world where trading volume is not high. Reduced selling could protect support. Stronger demand and a break above $0.095 would be needed before the short-term structure improves.
