Ripple announced on May 26 that Fortune and Great Place to Work named it one of the Best Workplaces in the Bay Area for 2026. The recognition is the latest in a string of accolades for the blockchain payments company as it continues to expand its operations.
What the Data Shows
The designation followed Great Place to Work certification, during which 95% of surveyed employees described Ripple as a great workplace. Great Place to Work collects anonymous employee responses and uses a Trust Index Survey of 60 statements to measure workplace culture. Ripple's profile showed high scores in onboarding, workplace resources, facilities, and equal treatment.
To determine the list, Great Place to Work collected more than 70,000 confidential survey responses from employees at eligible companies. Companies were ranked based on their ability to offer consistently positive experiences, building trust with leaders, colleagues, and the overall organisation. Rankings also separate companies by size, so Ripple was compared with similarly sized Bay Area employers.
A Recurring Presence on the List
Ripple has appeared on Fortune's Bay Area workplace lists in previous years, giving the 2026 recognition broader continuity. The company is currently undergoing significant operational expansion, with employees working on Ripple Payments, digital asset custody solutions, the XRP cryptocurrency ledger, and the newly launched RLUSD stablecoin.
The workplace recognition comes alongside other milestones for the firm in 2026. Ripple secured 16th spot on CNBC's list of the world's most disruptive venture-backed companies in mid-May. Also in May, Ripple Prime, the company's institutional liquidity offering, won the "Best Prime Broker" award at the Hedge Fund Services Awards Europe.
