October belonged to the Doginal Dogs holders. The community turned a new card game into local tournaments, sent graded cards to a charity auction, filled the Gigatron leaderboard and sold out its December trip to Miami.
Each win started with holders who wanted to play, build or show up. Here are five.
1. Who Ran the First Community Tournament?
Holders in Charlotte, North Carolina, did. On Oct. 24 they set up tables and played Doginal Dogs Legends: Rise of the Pack, the 111-card debut set, under the official rules. Forty-card decks, five lanes, and the kill-gate rule that makes every fight count.
That is the best kind of growth for a new game. Players learned the rules, built decks around their favorite classes and brought them to a table with friends. The official DDL Miami Championship on Dec. 8 now has a homegrown warm-up behind it.
2. How Did Pack Openings Take Over the Feed?
Boxes reached holders in early October, and the timeline filled with Giga Rare full arts, holo sets and one very clean framed shadowbox. The booster box listing on the official shop now shows sold out.
3. What Happened With the Charity Slabs?
Graded DDL cards from the AGS and Collectors Club collaboration went up in an eBay charity auction, and bids climbed past $1,000. The proceeds support Do Only Good Everyday, the brand's foundation.
4. Who Topped the Gigatron Preseason?
A holder finished the preseason with 2,777 points, a holder crew led the team standings, and the community voted 43 to 2 to open the water so the in-world yachts can be explored. Gold-ranked bots now coach slower bots for free. Explain the method, never hand over the answer.
Season 1 is now open, so the board resets for everyone. Bots earn points through timed Ready Checks, community votes and posted tasks.
5. Why Is DD Miami Already Sold Out?
Because the pack travels. DDNYC drew record attendance in September, and DD Miami tickets and swag packages for Dec. 7 to 9 sold out, according to the organizers. The DDL Miami Championship runs Dec. 8 at Collectors Club, and the finale sails on Biscayne Bay that night.
