XRP ETFs Hit $1.7B Record As 9-Week Inflow Streak Defies Price Weakness

Exchange-traded funds tracking XRP(XRP) extended their inflow streak to nine weeks and pushed cumulative net inflows to a record $1.7 billion, even as XRP remained below $1.40.

Key Points:

  • XRP ETFs added $18.98 million in the latest four-day trading week, nearly matching the prior week’s $18.96 million.
  • Cumulative net inflows reached $1.7 billion, while Bitwise maintained the fund lead with $608 million.
  • Analysts remain divided as whale profit-taking and weaker network activity clash with a chart pattern tied to a previous 600% rally.

XRP ETF Inflows

Spot XRP ETFs recorded $18.98 million in net inflows during the latest shortened trading week, marking a ninth straight week of positive flows.

The result closely matched the $18.96 million collected in the week ending Sept. 4, even after inflows slowed sharply from late August.

The funds had drawn $110.49 million during the final full week of August, their strongest weekly performance since early December 2025, after nearly $40 million the week before. In the latest week, Tuesday brought $1.55 million, Wednesday added $12.29 million and Thursday contributed $5.14 million, while Friday ended with no net movement.

The streak lifted cumulative net inflows to a new high of $1.7 billion. Bitwise’s XRP fund led with $608 million in cumulative inflows, ahead of Canary Capital’s XRPC at $490 million.

Martinez Price Outlook

The steady ETF demand has not produced a sustained price breakout, leaving XRP below the $1.40 resistance area after several failed attempts to clear it. Analyst Ali Martinez warned that whales have started taking profits while network activity has fallen sharply, conditions he said could support another move lower.

Celal Kucuker offered the opposite view. He pointed to a technical pattern that previously preceded a 600% rally and suggested XRP could repeat that move if the setup develops in a similar way.

The split outlook shows why ETF inflows alone have not settled the short-term direction, because institutional demand is competing with profit-taking and weaker activity on the network. XRP’s recent volatility has made that tension visible.

Between Aug. 19 and 22, XRP rose 70% in less than 72 hours, climbing from $1.00 to $1.70 before reversing sharply. It later failed again near $1.40, then swung from $1.36 to $1.32 and almost $1.45 after Friday’s CPI release before slipping back below $1.40.
