Binance Bahrain has appointed Bayan Jaberi as its General Manager, the company announced on October 27, 2026. Jaberi will lead Binance Bahrain’s operations in the Kingdom and is expected to guide what the firm called a new phase of growth within Bahrain’s regulated digital asset ecosystem.
According to the announcement, Jaberi has more than 25 years of experience in senior roles across regulated financial services, including over five years focused on scaling digital assets operations and risk management. Binance Bahrain said his background includes expertise in risk management, operational resilience and business continuity.
The appointment was described by Binance as arriving at a “pivotal time” as it continues to expand customer access to digital assets in Bahrain. The company highlighted initiatives including streamlined account funding through bank transfers and cards, digital asset payments via Binance Pay, and an expanding product set.
In comments shared by Binance, Tarik Erk, Binance’s Regional Head for MENAT and Senior Exec Officer, Abu Dhabi, said Jaberi brings experience across regulated financial services and digital assets, along with risk and operational expertise. Erk also said the appointment reflects Binance’s long-term commitment to Bahrain and its focus on building a “trusted, sustainable business” for users in the Kingdom.
Focus on customer access and usability
Binance said a priority under Jaberi’s leadership will be reducing friction across the customer journey, from initial account funding to using digital assets as part of everyday financial activity. Jaberi said, as quoted in the announcement, that many people begin their engagement with digital assets through familiar channels such as a bank account or card, and that making this first step “simple and intuitive” is important for users in Bahrain.
Expanded payments and product offerings
The company also pointed to expanding how users can engage with digital assets through Binance Pay, where, according to Binance, eligible users can send, receive and pay with supported cryptocurrencies where available.
Binance Bahrain said it offers a wider set of services in the Kingdom that includes fiat deposits and withdrawals, fiat-to-crypto conversion through Binance Convert, and preferred-rate BHD/USD OTC trading. The firm also listed trading and yield features including spot, Margin, futures and options, as well as Binance Earn on eligible assets.
As part of its product updates, Binance referenced bStocks, which it said was launched most recently and allows users to trade tokenized U.S. equities 24/7 in the same app and account, with trading amounts stated by Binance as starting from as little as $5. The company also said that users holding crypto on Binance globally can move funds to Binance Bahrain with no additional fees.
Binance Bahrain added that it is licensed and regulated by the Central Bank of Bahrain as a Category 4 crypto-asset service provider.
