Ceramic’s work is open source, public, and community-powered. The current discussion is about additional gap funding to help accelerate the final CL8Y DEX launch stage.
This is not about replacing volunteer work.
It is about recognising that voluntary open-source development has already brought the project close to launch, and community support can help maintain momentum at the most important stage.
So far, Ceramic’s voluntary contribution has produced over 600,000 lines of code across three major Terra Classic initiatives:

To make this easier and more transparent, Ceramic will create a dApp that allows people to purchase CL8Y directly from him, especially when additional support is needed to cover funding shortfalls and keep development moving.
Ceramic has said that, based on the current state of the project, one month should be sufficient to launch CL8Y DEX, with weekly milestones to keep expectations clear.

✅ Week 1: Internal ReviewComplete internal security review, test contracts, frontend, and indexer, verify deployment scripts, check treasury/admin controls, and clear all critical blockers.
🎯 Target: DEX is cleared for public launch testing.
✅ Week 2: Non-Economic Token LaunchLaunch the DEX publicly on Terra Classic using non-economic tokens first. Users can test swaps, liquidity, routing, wallet flows, and frontend/indexer behaviour without real market risk.
🎯 Target: Mainnet DEX works smoothly with community testing.
✅ Week 3: vFDUSD Price OracleDeploy a vFDUSD price oracle on Terra Classic, connect it to the frontend/indexer, and test freshness checks, stale-price handling, and display accuracy.
🎯 Target: vFDUSD oracle is live and ready for economic launch.
✅ Week 4: Economic Token LaunchLaunch real economic token pairs with controlled liquidity, verified token settings, working price data, and live monitoring.
🎯 Target: Economic trading is live on CL8Y DEX with swaps, liquidity, oracle data, and support monitoring.
