Taurus, a digital asset infrastructure company based in Switzerland and established in 2018 in Geneva, has expanded its service offerings by integrating Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR) technology for its institutional clients. Taurus supplies enterprise-grade digital asset solutions for banks and regulated institutions to manage the custody, issuance, tokenization, and staking of various digital assets.

Deutsche Bank and HBAR integration

Deutsche Bank, one of Europe’s leading financial institutions with assets totaling $64 billion, has started utilizing Taurus’ platform to natively stake Hedera’s HBAR coin. Additionally, the bank is now issuing tokenized shares of Real World Assets (RWAs) and private equity through the same infrastructure.

This step allows Deutsche Bank not only to stake HBAR but also to facilitate on-chain monetization of its own securities. By leveraging Taurus’ technology, the bank joins other major institutions—such as Jane Street, Lloyds Bank, Standard Bank, and Shinhan Bank—that are actively exploring the HBAR network to tokenize RWAs.

Mini dictionary: Taurus is a Swiss fintech company that provides infrastructure for banks and financial institutions to custody, trade, and manage digital assets, including services for tokenizing real-world assets and staking cryptocurrencies.

Institutional adoption and council changes

Hedera’s Governing Council, which supervises the network’s operations, includes industry giants such as Google, IBM, Deutsche Telekom, Accenture, and FedEx, underscoring strong institutional backing for the ecosystem. The recent participation by Deutsche Bank highlights a growing interest among large banks in integrating blockchain-based solutions into daily operations.

However, a few weeks ago, Hitachi exited the council, reducing the number of members to 33. Despite this departure, the altcoin’s price remained largely unaffected.

HBAR recent price performance and analyst outlook

Currently, HBAR’s price is consolidating in the $0.08 to $0.09 range, forming a double-bottom pattern. Historically, this technical setup may precede a trend reversal. Crypto analyst Gopal has identified a potential price target at the quarterly high of $0.22 if momentum returns. The long-term target stands at $0.35, referencing a similar technical pattern that played out in 2025 when HBAR rallied from about $0.09 to over $0.30, surpassing the $0.22 resistance in just 30 days.

Market data from TradingView indicates that whales are not providing significant support at the current levels, though bulls are managing to keep HBAR above the key $0.092 support point.

Resistance Targets Support Levels Recent Price Range Quarterly High Long-term Target $0.11 / $0.22 $0.08 / $0.09 / $0.092 $0.08–$0.09 $0.22 $0.35

Shorter-term technicals show some selling pressure among larger holders, with HBAR’s Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) indicator near -0.07. This signals a slightly negative outlook, though the $0.11 mark, matching the red-label Bollinger Band, remains a level to reclaim for further price recovery.

Taurus now enables Deutsche Bank to stake HBAR and issue tokenized shares of real world assets and private equity, allowing the bank to leverage on-chain monetization and join other major institutions engaging with the Hedera network.
