CoinCodex data shows DOGE reached a high of about $0.0976 on Oct. 2 before closing near $0.093. It remained close to that level on Oct. 4, with the latest session trading between roughly $0.0926 and $0.0935.

The pullback does not completely invalidate the recent recovery, but it leaves bulls with the same problem: DOGE still needs to reclaim the $0.098-$0.10 area before a larger move can begin.

$0.098 Remains the Key DOGE Resistance

The latest rejection reinforces $0.098 as the immediate technical ceiling.

Around 28 billion DOGE previously changed hands near $0.098, creating a large concentration of holders around the level and potentially increasing selling pressure when price returns there. Large wallets also accumulated about 1.14 billion DOGE, worth roughly $112 million at the time, despite that resistance sitting overhead.

Coinpaper’s previous Dogecoin price outlook highlighted the same $0.10 breakout test, while a more recent DOGE analysis identified $0.11-$0.12 as the next upside zone if bulls can finally clear it.

Large-holder demand remains one of the more bullish parts of the setup.

Whales accumulated more than 1.14 billion DOGE over four days, even as price approached resistance. At the same time, U.S. Dogecoin investment products recorded about $2.9 million in weekly inflows, their strongest weekly total reported during the recent move.

However, that buying has not been enough to force a clean breakout.

DOGE has now retreated toward the $0.092-$0.093 support area, meaning the next move could depend on whether buyers defend that zone. A break below $0.09 would weaken the structure and expose DOGE to a deeper pullback.
