In mid-October, major cryptocurrencies Ethereum, Uniswap, Dogecoin, and Shiba Inu are maneuvering through tight price corridors as they seek direction. The short-term outlook for these assets largely hinges on maintaining or surpassing specific thresholds, with trading volume and daily closures driving subsequent market movements.

Ethereum and Uniswap Search for Market Direction

Ethereum is currently priced at $2,455, having lost momentum post its late September attempt to breach $2,800, and now hovers just below the $2,490 region—an important short-term benchmark. The zone between $2,310 and $2,355 has emerged as a strong support area where buying interest re-engages significantly.

Throughout the week, Ethereum dipped as low as $2,310 before quickly rebounding. This high-volume recovery suggests that buying interest remains intact, as indicated by the Relative Strength Index (RSI) on the daily chart, which hovers around 40, pointing to weak momentum yet still above oversold territory.

Ethereum’s first sign of strength will be a daily close above $2,490; this scenario could see the $2,600 region come back into focus.

Conversely, a close below $2,310 would increase the risk of a steeper retreat toward $2,100. During periods when technical thresholds are closely monitored, investor behavior becomes critical. In the meme token market, internet trends can quickly translate into millions of dollars in interest. According to data shared by Fomo, a $99 starting stake on Niu Lai was leveraged to about $370,000, illustrating the market’s vibrancy. Keeping a pulse on when and what tokens investors are trading, not just their prices, is vital. Fomo App combines social streams, investor rankings, and trade alerts—all on one platform, thus offering a unique window into the meme token landscape.

Uniswap, meanwhile, holds at $7.39. Having dropped roughly 30% from its September peak of $10.90, UNI has recently oscillated between $6.80 and $7.85. The RSI’s position around 50 reflects a market where buyers and sellers hold evenly matched stances.

Dogecoin and Shiba Inu Strive to Maintain Support Levels

Dogecoin is trading at $0.0816. After being rejected near $0.1060 at the end of September, the price weakened, making $0.0800 a short-term equilibrium point. Despite the price dropping to $0.0777 during the recent decline, it managed to recover. However, since the price remains below moving averages, the rebound has yet to be confirmed.

For DOGE, holding above $0.0800 is crucial in the short term. Should it dip below, the levels at $0.0777 and subsequently $0.0750 could come into play. On the upside, surpassing $0.0860 would mark the first significant step toward strengthening recovery.

Shiba Inu is currently valued at $0.00000514. While SHIB climbed to $0.00000627 by late September, it weakened thereafter and touched a recent low of $0.00000483. Although there have been attempts for recovery, the low trading volume suggests these efforts are limited in scope.

For Shiba Inu, the $0.00000500 level is of critical importance in the short-term structure; slipping below this could lead to a retest of September lows.

For SHIB, $0.00000528 is monitored as the first key level, with $0.00000538 and $0.00000545 following closely. Over a broader view, August’s low at $0.00000435, September’s low at $0.00000475, and this week’s low at $0.00000483 delineate a pattern that, while not completely disrupted technically, demands that buyers demonstrate renewed strength.
