Strongest weekly haul since April
US spot Ether ETFs recorded $244.94 million in net inflows for the week ending August 7, according to SoSoValue data, extending their positive run to five consecutive weeks. The haul was the largest single-week figure since April, underlining a steady recovery in institutional appetite for Ethereum exposure through regulated products.
Weekly inflows across the five-week streak stood at $84.4 million, $105.4 million, $103.9 million, $27.4 million, and $244.9 million respectively. The acceleration in the most recent week suggests demand is broadening rather than tapering off.
BlackRock dominates, but the gap remains
The top performer for the week was @BlackRock's $ETHA, which pulled in $203 million in net inflows, bringing its historical total net inflows to $11.65 billion.Fidelity's FETH came in second with $24.15 million in weekly net inflows, taking its cumulative total to $2.12 billion. On the other side of the ledger, Grayscale's Ethereum Trust ETHE saw $4.76 million in net outflows for the week.
As of the close of the reporting period, the total net asset value of US Ethereum spot ETFs stood at $10.74 billion, with cumulative historical net inflows reaching $11.46 billion. The fact that total assets remain below cumulative inflows reflects the broader decline in ETH's price over the year, which has weighed on fund valuations even as fresh capital continues to arrive.
Spot crypto ETF flows have become one of the market's most closely watched indicators of demand for Ether through traditional investment products. Although similar funds exist in other jurisdictions including Hong Kong, US-listed ETFs account for the vast majority of global assets and trading volumes.
