  • Ethereum price holds near $1,880, with Bollinger resistance at $1,933 and support at $1,846.
  • New daily ETH addresses rise about 75%, from 121,210 on August 8 to 212,560.
  • Reclaiming $1,920 favors $2,000, while losing $1,800–$1,850 exposes $1,700.

Ethereum price is trading near $1,880.65, down 0.12%, as the asset holds close to its middle Bollinger Band. Neutral momentum and six weeks of sideways action keep ETH inside a narrow range. Meanwhile, accelerating network growth adds a constructive on-chain signal. Traders now face clear confirmation levels at $1,920 and $1,933, with downside risk concentrated around the $1,800–$1,850 zone.

Ethereum Price Compresses Between Key Bollinger Levels

ETH sits just below the middle Bollinger Band at $1,889.89. That position supports consolidation rather than a bullish or bearish trend.

The upper band at $1,933.04 forms immediate resistance. A daily move above that boundary would clear Ted Pillows’ $1,920 reclaim level. Such a break could open a test of $2,000 before the $2,200 target enters focus.

Ethereum price still lacks momentum. The Relative Strength Index reads 50.64 after easing from 52.63. Readings near 50 often reflect balanced demand and supply, matching the current range.

On the downside, the lower Bollinger Band at $1,846.74 aligns with Ted’s $1,800–$1,850 support zone. Losing that cluster would weaken the six-week structure and expose $1,700.

A deeper selloff could bring $1,600 into view. Still, price must first close below the lower band and sustain the breakdown. Until either boundary gives way, Bollinger compression favors patience over early directional positioning.

Network Growth Rises as Traders Track Breakout Levels

Network activity provides a counterweight to the flat chart. Ali Martinez reports that new daily addresses jumped from 121,210 on August 8 to 212,560. That equals roughly 75% in eight days.

Rising address creation can signal participation and fresh demand for block space. Yet network expansion does not guarantee an immediate price rally. Sustained activity matters more than a single spike.

Ethereum price sits between improving adoption and unresolved technical resistance. Ali maintains a $3,000 longer-term outlook, while Ted focuses on $1,920.

A $1,920 reclaim would put the $1,933 upper band under direct pressure. Holding above both levels would strengthen the path toward $2,000 and $2,200.

Ethereum price faces a weaker setup below $1,846. A further loss of $1,800 would support Ted’s $1,700 downside scenario, while $1,600 marks the deeper chart support.
