The cryptocurrency market recently witnessed significant movements among four standout assets, with Near Protocol leading the charge. Over the past month, NEAR catapulted from around $1.70 at the end of August to $5.20, marking a staggering increase of over 200%. While XRP and Bitcoin maintained their upward trajectories, signs emerged that GRAM could be gearing up for a potential reversal after a prolonged downtrend.
Can XRP Sustain Its Growth?
XRP’s growth has continued, even after retracting from a weekly peak above $1.65, now trading roughly at $1.537. It broke its late-August resistance of $1.35 to climb as high as $1.70, eventually stabilizing between $1.35 and $1.55. Such consolidation presents $1.45 to $1.50 as an immediate support zone, while $1.65 to $1.70 remains a key resistance ahead of new highs.
If XRP dips below $1.35, it may challenge the optimistic technical sentiment and retest the lower $1.30 range. However, the main impediment to growth remains the buffer zone at $1.65 to $1.70 before advancing to new peaks.
XRP continues to observe $1.45 to $1.50 as support, while $1.65 to $1.70 persists as the primary barrier before achieving new heights.
GRAM’s Potential Turnaround?
After nearing $2.90 in early May, GRAM faced a steep decline, pulling back to approximately $1.30 by the end of summer. Recently, it has rebounded from $1.40 to $1.63, surpassing its 50 and 100-day averages.
A pivotal consideration now is the 200-day moving average, which is hovering around $1.60. A sustained closure above this level could indicate the first significant trend reversal since May. Alternatively, support above $1.50 may bolster positive sentiment, while falling below $1.40 could limit the recent upswing.
Bitcoin has displayed resilience, slightly pulling back from last week’s $87,400 peak to about $84,900. It’s continued to reflect a positive medium-term outlook after breaching the 72,000-dollar resistance in mid-August. Its value has tripled compared to approximately $58,000 at the start of June.
Key support is noted between $80,000 and $81,000, with a deeper structural base around $76,000 to $77,000. Retesting the $87,000 to $88,000 zone is deemed crucial for sustaining the current upward momentum.
NEAR’s Price Climb: What’s Next?
Near Protocol, known for providing developers with scalable application infrastructure, experienced an almost vertical price move over the last month. This has considerably widened the gap with its technical indicators. The 50-day average stands at $2.90, the 100-day at $2.40, and the 200-day at $2.10, while the price surged to $5.20, suggesting overextension.
The Relative Strength Index markedly above 70 points to strong short-term buying pressure but also hints at potential corrections or a prolonged sideways phase. Historically, sharp climbs have met swift pullbacks, spotlighting the $4.00 to $4.20 range as critical. Staying above this threshold might preserve the rally, while dropping below could indicate the end of the parabolic phase.
Despite a strong momentum indicated by NEAR’s over 200% rise in a month, the current levels pose a heightened risk of sharp corrections.
- The recent climb of NEAR showcases its growth potential yet faces risks due to accelerated expansion.
- XRP maintains growth potential but remains bounded by critical resistance levels.
- GRAM is hinting at a possible turnaround if it can surmount crucial averages.
- Bitcoin continues its robust performance with a positive medium-term outlook.
As these assets navigate their respective market dynamics, investors are advised to consider both the potential for further gains and the looming risks, particularly for assets showing signs of overheating. Strategies should align with personal risk tolerance and market expectations.
