@Lifiprotocol is launching native, intent-based execution for @OndoFinance tokenized stocks and ETFs on @Solana, connecting more than 450 tokenized securities to its distribution network. The network spans more than 1,000 consumer wallets, DeFi applications and neobanks.
The launch uses a Request for Quote (RFQ) liquidity model through LI.FI Intents, enabling one-click secondary market trading of tokenized securities. Retail and institutional traders can trade tokenized stocks against on-chain capital, without routing through traditional broker-dealer clearinghouses or dealing with cross-chain bridging.
How the integration works
LI.FI describes itself as an intent-based execution engine for same-chain and cross-chain token transfers. According to LI.FI, market makers in its network quote competitive prices for tokenized assets, which helps partners offer access at the best available prices across supported chains. Partners can unlock the assets through their existing LI.FI integration.
Ondo and LI.FI first announced the tie-up with support for Ethereum and BNB Chain, with Solana listed as coming soon. Ondo said the integration brought 438+ tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs, including Tesla, NVIDIA, Apple, QQQ and SPY, to LI.FI's partner network. The Solana launch extends that access to a third chain.
Ondo Finance brought its tokenized equities platform to Solana on January 21, 2026. The Solana Foundation said the tokens are backed 1:1 by securities held at U.S.-registered broker-dealers, and can be minted and redeemed 24 hours a day, five days a week. That launch made Ondo the largest real-world asset issuer on Solana by asset count.
Tokenized stocks are often spread across several blockchains, which fragments liquidity. LI.FI notes that Ondo's platform currently covers Ethereum, BNB Chain and Solana, and that its products are offered to non-U.S. users, with an institutional-first approach. Routing trades through a single intent-based layer is intended to reduce that friction for wallets and apps.
Tokenized securities give holders economic exposure to the underlying shares rather than shareholder rights, Cointelegraph reported in its explainer on Ondo's Solana plans.
