Robinhood Markets (Nasdaq: HOOD) is the e-trading brokerage platform that is extremely popular among retail traders for its equity, crypto, and tokenized stock offerings.
On July 1, the brokerage firm launched Robinhood Chain, an Arbitrum permissionless, layer-2 blockchain built on Ethereum (ETH). The network has gained popularity for meme coins and tokenized real-world assets (RWAs).
The company reported its earnings for the second quarter of 2026 after the closing bell on July 29.
The firm missed Wall Street estimates during Q1 when it generated $0.38 in earnings per share (EPS) and $1.07 billion in revenue against the estimated figures of EPS of $0.39 and revenue of $1.139 billion.
During Q2 2026, Robinhood generated $1.31 billion in revenue and $0.62 in EPS, beating Wall Street estimates, compiled by FactSet, of EPS of $0.41 on revenue of approximately $1.26 billion.
The HOOD stock closed at $89.84 on July 29, down 3% in a day.
