A notable member of the Shiba Inu community, Mazrael, recently announced a significant milestone for the Shibarium network with the successful deployment of Safe v1.4.1. This update includes the rollout of nine Smart contracts on Shibariumscan that have been both published and verified. A concurrent pull request numbered PR#1666 has been opened to document these deployments.

What Are the New Features of the Verified Contracts?

The Safe v1.4.1 version has gone live with nine contracts, as confirmed by Mazrael. This development is crucial as it ensures that the contracts have been verified on Shibariumscan, reinforcing their credibility and utility within the network. A screenshot showing these contracts’ activation and verification was also shared to add transparency to the announcement.

Safe v1.4.1 for nine contracts has been released and verified on Shibariumscan. A pull request numbered PR#1666 has been initiated for the deployment records.

Mazrael further highlighted that the Safe team reviews the canonical deployment records bi-weekly, while the versions are released on a monthly basis. This structured approach ensures that new entries in Shibarium are transitioned through official channels, solidifying their permanence.

According to the technical documentation available on GitHub, all nine contracts within Safe v1.4.1 have been deployed on the Shibarium mainnet with canonical addresses. This deployment was facilitated through the Safe Singleton Factory, and its verification on the blockchain explorer has been confirmed.

How Does v1.4.1 Differ from v1.3.0?

Previously, the v1.3.0 version was recorded through the eip155 deployment set on Shibarium. With PR#1666, the addition of version v1.4.1 using canonical addresses signifies that the SafeProxyFactory address will align with those on other canonical networks. Consequently, this compatibility will enable the Safe wallets created on Shibarium to correspond with their counterparts across different networks.

The technical details shared also reveal that each deployed contract address matches with the deployments.canonical.address data. Additionally, the keccak256 value of the working code on the chain mirrors the deployments.canonical.codeHash published in the repository.

What’s the Current Status of Shibarium Infrastructure?

Mazrael addressed rumors suggesting that Shibarium is no longer operational by confirming that the network remains active. He emphasized that the infrastructure is undergoing maintenance and transition, with the community continuing to engage actively within this ecosystem.

The Shibarium infrastructure is being maintained and transitioned to a new structure. The network continues functioning and community activities remain ongoing.

  • Shibarium’s transition remains underway, disproving claims of inactivity.
  • A reset process is occurring on Shibarium Scan, with approximately 50% of blocks indexed.
  • Shibarium explorer integration commenced post an outage in August when moved behind Cloudflare.

The Shibarium infrastructure is now advancing through a reset process, with about half of its blocks indexed. This transition is part of a broader effort that includes refining system resilience and ensuring the reliability of the blockchain explorer, which faced integration challenges following an earlier outage. The focus remains on seamless migration and bolstering network capabilities.
