Solana is testing a decisive support area near $73, where the next short-term move could take shape. Holding this level and reclaiming $77 would preserve the recovery, while the longer-term $500 and $1,000 targets depend on several major breakouts.

Solana Reaches Critical $73 Level as Breakout Decision Nears

Solana is testing a key support area near $73 that could determine its next broader move. Analyst Crypto Patel said holding the level would preserve the bullish structure, while a breakdown could expose deeper liquidity between $68 and $64.

The chart shows SOL trading near $73.90, close to the 0.382 Fibonacci retracement at $73.89 and an ascending trendline that has supported the recovery since June. Buyers have defended the same rising structure during several previous pullbacks.

However, Solana remains below descending resistance extending from the July high near $84. A recovery above $77 would place price back above that trendline and strengthen the case for another move toward $80 and $84.

Losing $73 would weaken the current sequence of higher lows. The next support sits near the 0.5 Fibonacci level at $71, followed by the broader $68.22-$64.46 region.

A break below $64.46 could expose the June low around $60. Meanwhile, reclaiming $77 and holding above it would confirm that buyers have regained short-term control.

For now, Solana remains at a decision point. Defending $73 keeps the recovery intact, while a confirmed breakdown would favor a deeper correction toward $68-$64.

Solana Holds Key Support as $500 and $1,000 Targets Emerge

Solana is trading near a major long-term support region that analyst Crypto Patel views as a potential accumulation area. His weekly chart projects possible targets at $500 and $1,000, although SOL must first defend support and break several major resistance zones.

The chart places SOL near $74, just above Fibonacci support around $72.55. A broader entry zone extends toward approximately $52, where previous demand and long-term structural support converge.

Holding the $52-$73 region would preserve the bullish setup. However, a sustained breakdown below that area could expose the midrange support near $32.50 and weaken the long-term recovery thesis.

The first major obstacle sits near $101. Reclaiming that level would strengthen momentum, but SOL would still face heavier resistance between roughly $180 and $295, including its former record-high region.

A confirmed breakout above that broader resistance could bring the $500 target into focus. The chart then projects a possible extension toward $1,000, representing a gain of about 1,900% from the lower support area.

However, the targets depend on Solana repeating a previous breakout-and-retest structure. For now, SOL remains near support rather than in a confirmed expansion phase, making the $500 and $1,000 projections long-term and highly conditional.
