The cryptocurrency market moved lower on October 3, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both declining while Worldcoin gained more than 10%. Midnight posted the strongest gain among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, while Lighter recorded the steepest decline.

According to CoinMarketCap at 10:30 a.m. KST on October 3, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.26% to $84,602.69, while Ethereum (ETH) declined 1.43% to $2,678.05. XRP slipped 0.16% to $1.49.

Solana (SOL) fell 0.05% to $119.20, while Tron (TRX) rose 0.12% to $0.3348. Dogecoin (DOGE) declined 0.42% to $0.09319.

Avalanche (AVAX) edged up 0.20% to $10.91. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) fell 1.53% to $0.05493, while Worldcoin (WLD) surged 10.74% to $0.5631.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Midnight (NIGHT) posted the largest gain, rising 28.39% over 24 hours. Lighter (LIT), meanwhile, recorded the biggest decline at 6.55%.

Among other altcoins, Quai Network (QUAI) rose 5.77% to $0.01089, while Aleo (ALEO) gained 5.59% to $0.03034.

New cryptocurrencies listed on CoinMarketCap within the past 24 hours include Dolphin (POD) and HoodPork (PORKU).
