CEO Matt Cole announced on X that the company he runs has purchased 6,182 BTC for over $511 million over the past week at an average price of $82,732 per unit.
This was the company’s single biggest bitcoin buy, which exceeds some of the previous major ones from a few weeks ago of 3,311 BTC and the roughly 2,500 BTC haul from May-June.
Strive acquired 6,182 $BTC for $511.4M at an average cost of $82,732 per bitcoin, bringing total holdings to ₿43,000.
– Cash and marketable securities increased by $187.7M to $554.6M. – Established a $1B $SATS ATM program.
After last week’s more modest acquisition of 1,223 BTC, the company’s total stash was valued at over $3 billion. However, the asset’s price stood slightly higher at the time, while the current battle for $80,000 means that the firm’s USD equivalent has declined.
Although it has spent more than $511 million for its latest purchase, the USD value of its bitcoin fortune is worth just under $3.5 billion. However, the company’s stash in terms of BTC has reached a new all-time high of 43,000 units.
The company also reported that its cash and marketable securities increased by almost $188 million to $554.6 million. This shows effective capital deployment from recent preferred stock raises while maintaining liquidity for dividends and operations.
Strive also initiated a $1 billion ATM program for SATS preferred stock, extending its debt-free model of issuing dividend-bearing securities like SATA and SATS to fund further bitcoin purchases.
