US-listed spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) registered their sixth straight day of net inflows on Tuesday, adding $203.1 million for the session.

Continued gains for US Bitcoin ETFs

According to data provided by SoSoValue, spot Bitcoin ETFs in the United States have attracted about $930 million in net inflows during this six-session surge. This marks their longest consecutive run of inflows since April.

The recent inflows coincide with stronger price action in Bitcoin. On Tuesday, Bitcoin traded above $65,000 and briefly touched $66,700 before retreating. At the time of reporting, Bitcoin was priced at $65,802, representing a 2% increase over the previous 24 hours, based on data from CoinGecko.

Market observers pointed to the importance of the $65,000 to $65,500 price range for Bitcoin. Analysts noted that breaking above and maintaining this range could be necessary for further upward momentum in the digital asset.

Improved market sentiment

The broader cryptocurrency market experienced a slight improvement in sentiment on Wednesday. The Crypto Fear & Greed Index moved up from “extreme fear” to “fear,” reflecting increased confidence among investors following the continued ETF inflows and Bitcoin’s price resilience.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs have now accumulated $51.8 billion in cumulative net inflows since their launch, with total net assets reaching $80.9 billion. However, despite the recent positive streak, the products remain at $4.84 billion in net outflows for the year to date.

The US Bitcoin ETFs have attracted significant attention from both retail and institutional investors seeking regulated exposure to Bitcoin. These funds, which directly hold Bitcoin as opposed to tracking futures prices, offer an accessible alternative to direct cryptocurrency purchases for US investors.
