XRP Ledger (XRPL) secured third place worldwide among blockchain platforms by weekly stablecoin capitalization growth, according to the latest official report from the RWA Foundation based on Token Terminal data.

XRPL posts strong capital inflow despite earlier decline

The report indicated that, over a recent seven-day period, XRPL-based stablecoins recorded a net capital inflow of $58.3 million. This quick turnaround came after a significant setback: by October 22, the stablecoin capitalization on XRPL had fallen by 13.19% week-over-week to approximately $999.9 million.

This earlier decline was attributed to Ripple transferring part of its RLUSD stablecoin supply to Ethereum. The move was aimed at optimizing capital allocation and leveraging the strengths of both blockchain ecosystems.

Amid these shifts, XRPL’s development community is considering measures to promote network adoption among businesses. A key initiative involves a feature allowing companies to subsidize transaction fees for clients by mass-creating wallets, eliminating the need for each to maintain the mandatory starting balance of 1 XRP.

However, this functionality depends on approval of the Sponsor amendment. As of October 29, only nine validators had endorsed the proposal, falling short of the required supermajority needed for activation.

XRPL witnessed a rebound in stablecoin inflows following Ripple’s decision to reallocate RLUSD to Ethereum, while ongoing initiatives seek to further reduce corporate costs and attract institutional adoption. The Sponsor amendment still lacks the validator support necessary for implementation.

Arc and Tempo claim top positions in stablecoin inflows

The ranking was led by Arc, an infrastructure blockchain network launched by Circle. Designed as a settlement layer for AI agents and smart contracts, Arc saw its weekly stablecoin volume climb by $252.2 million. This figure is more than double that of its nearest competitor, reflecting strong demand for automated and scalable transaction solutions.

Taking second place, Tempo is a payment-focused Layer 1 network developed with key contributions from Stripe and Paradigm. The platform registered a net capital inflow of $98.2 million over the same period, driven largely by increased liquidity in its flagship stablecoin, Open USD (OUSD).

Tempo’s notable performance was attributed to strategic support from major fintech and venture investors, which fueled growth in settlements across merchant clients using its base stablecoin.

Monitoring capital flows with advanced analytics

Given the rapid shifts in stablecoin inflows and cross-chain movements, traders and institutional users face volatility in liquidity positioning. CryptoAppsy’s real-time charts and smart price alerts can help market participants track changes in XRPL’s stablecoin capitalization and monitor validator activity as proposals like the Sponsor amendment move forward. These tools enable users to respond swiftly to major developments in capital allocation and network governance.
