Upbit and Bithumb, two of South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, have seen remarkable trading volumes in some altcoins over the past 24 hours.
When data from the trading pairs of the two exchanges were combined, Prom (PROM) topped the list. PROM achieved a trading volume of approximately $115.2 million on Upbit and $24.3 million on Bithumb, generating a total volume of $139.5 million across the two exchanges.
PROM was followed by XRP with a total trading volume of approximately $97.5 million. Boundless (ZKC) saw a total volume of $78.7 million, while zkPass (ZKP) experienced a volume of approximately $67.2 million.
In particular, Upbit data showed that altcoins like PROM, ZKC, ZKP, and Official Trump (TRUMP) achieved higher 24-hour trading volumes than Bitcoin and Ethereum. On the Bithumb side, Helium (HNT) and PROM stood out after XRP.
