Why Musk's baby lags behind Bitcoin in Roundtable 100
The rankings are based on the performance of these assets, as evaluated by the Roundtable 100 analysts.
Published with TheStreet, The Roundtable 100 ranks the top 100 publicly traded technology growth assets. Each is scored from 0 to 100 by the analysts of the Blue Ribbon Committee on five variables, Team, Safety, Value, Innovation, and Market Dominance, with the average forming the asset's Power Ranking. The list refreshes every Friday after the U.S. market close.
While Bitcoin's market cap is $1.63 trillion and Tesla's market cap is $1.49 trillion currently, the former is still a relatively niche asset in comparison to a publicly traded stock like the latter.
Nonetheless, the Roundtable 100 analysts have ranked Bitcoin above Tesla because Blue Ribbon Committee analysts rank an asset on the basis of how much room it still has to grow.
It implies that the analysts believe that Bitcoin is near its peak, but Tesla still has more potential to grow.
