Bitcoin shows 0.24% kimchi premium in Korean market on May 5.

As of 12:00 AM KST on May 5, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 118.54 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 1.67% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 118.26 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 280,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.24%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.28%. Other major altcoins also showed modest premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.25%, XRP (XRP) at 0.27%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.11%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.34%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.1% to 0.3% range.
