As of 12:00 AM KST on August 27, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 108.31 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, down 0.79% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 107.94 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 370,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.34%.
Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.39%. Other major altcoins also showed premiums, with Solana (SOL) at 0.32%, XRP (XRP) at 0.43%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.11%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.40%. Most major altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.1% to 0.4% range.
