Bitcoin shows 0.45% kimchi premium in Korean market on May 6.

As of 12:00 AM KST on May 6, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 120.30 million KRW on South Korea’s Upbit exchange, up 1.41% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 119.76 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 540,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.45%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.38%. Other major altcoins also showed modest premiums: Solana (SOL) at 0.44%, XRP (XRP) at 0.36%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.26%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.40%. Most top altcoins are currently trading with a premium in the 0.2% to 0.4% range.
