As of 12:00 AM KST on August 29, Bitcoin (BTC) was trading at 110.59 million KRW on South Korea's Upbit exchange, down 0.37% from the previous day. On global exchange Binance, BTC was priced at 109.87 million KRW, reflecting a price gap of 720,000 KRW and a kimchi premium of 0.66%.

Ethereum (ETH), the leading altcoin, recorded a kimchi premium of 0.61%. Other major altcoins also traded at premiums, with Solana (SOL) at 0.74%, XRP (XRP) at 0.74%, Dogecoin (DOGE) at 0.81%, and Sui (SUI) at 0.87%. Most major altcoins are currently trading with a kimchi premium in the 0.6% to 0.8% range.
