Tom Lee's (@fundstrat) Bitmine (@BitMNR) has added another 53,501 $ETH to its treasury, extending what has become one of the most consistent accumulation streaks in crypto.
65 Weeks Without a Break
The latest purchase marks the company's 65th consecutive week of buying since its treasury strategy began on June 30, 2025. Bitmine now holds 5,901,112 ETH in total, representing approximately 4.9% of Ethereum's 120.7 million circulating supply and leaving the firm within 0.1 percentage points of its "Alchemy of 5%" target.
At current prices, the position is valued at approximately $14.8 billion. The company needs roughly 133,900 more ETH to reach its 5% ownership goal.Bitmine's treasury has expanded rapidly since Lee assumed the chairmanship in mid-2025 and pivoted the company from a Bitcoin mining focus to Ethereum accumulation.
A Productive Treasury, Not a Passive One
Of the 5.90 million ETH held, 5,067,309 tokens (86% of the position) are currently staked.Lee said Bitmine's staking operations generated a seven-day annualized yield of 2.63%, translating to projected annualized staking revenue of approximately $335 million.Under a scenario in which the entire position is staked through the firm's Made in America Validator Network (MAVAN) platform and its staking partners, projected staking rewards rise to $390 million on an annualized basis.
Management highlighted Bitmine's addition to the Russell 1000 index on June 26, 2026, and cited growing Wall Street tokenization, agentic AI adoption, and supportive U.S. policy signals as tailwinds for Ethereum and for the company's strategy.Chairman Tom Lee expects institutional demand for crypto to strengthen during the final months of 2026.
