Bitcoin climbed above $74,700 on Aug. 21, while XRP jumped more than 17% as major cryptocurrencies traded higher across the market. Ethena (ENA) recorded the strongest gain among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap.

According to CoinMarketCap at 11:00 a.m. KST on Aug. 21, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 7.83% from the previous day to $74,743.49, while Ethereum (ETH) gained 4.62% to $2,358.09.

XRP climbed 17.32% to $1.29, posting the strongest gain among the major cryptocurrencies. Solana (SOL) advanced 5.91% to $89.94, while Tron (TRX) edged up 1.31% to $0.338.

Dogecoin (DOGE) increased 8.28% to $0.08189, Avalanche (AVAX) rose 7.17% to $7.28, and Worldcoin (WLD) added 3.32% to $0.3713. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) was the only major asset in the list to post a decline, slipping 1.17% to $0.06099.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Ethena (ENA) recorded the biggest 24-hour gain, soaring 29.82%. Official Trump (TRUMP) posted the largest decline, falling 6.18%.

Elsewhere in the altcoin market, QUAI fell 0.21% to $0.01201, while ALEO declined 1.26% to $0.01582.

CoinMarketCap also added five newly listed cryptocurrencies over the past 24 hours: DogBull (DOGO), Gorilla in a Coupe (GIAC), Good In The Hood (GOOD), Web3 Growth Agent (XYZ), and MetaForge (MFORGE).
