The cryptocurrency market entered a broad correction on Aug. 31, with Bitcoin slipping below $78,000 while Uniswap (UNI) emerged as the top-performing asset among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap.

According to CoinMarketCap at 10:00 a.m. KST on Aug. 31, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.29% from the previous day to $77,809.65, while Ethereum (ETH) declined 1.35% to $2,420.60, extending the broader weakness across major cryptocurrencies.
XRP dropped 2.83% to $1.35, while Solana (SOL) fell 3.15% to $101.97. Dogecoin (DOGE) declined 3.36% to $0.08213, and Avalanche (AVAX) slipped 1.92% to $7.14.
Tron (TRX) fell 1.27% to $0.3362. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) edged down 0.47% to $0.05719, while Worldcoin (WLD) dropped 4.51% to $0.3608.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Uniswap (UNI) recorded the biggest 24-hour gain, rising 10.56%. Pump.fun (PUMP) posted the steepest decline, falling 10.45%.
Elsewhere in the altcoin market, QUAI fell 3.69% to $0.008749, while ALEO declined 2.21% to $0.01709.
CoinMarketCap also added DELTA as a newly listed cryptocurrency over the past 24 hours.
