The cryptocurrency market posted broad gains on January 2, with most major digital assets trading higher.
According to CoinMarketCap, as of 10:00 AM KST on January 2, Bitcoin (BTC) was up 0.97% at $88,650.49, while Ethereum (ETH) gained 0.72% to $3,000.81. XRP (XRP) rose 1.84% to $1.87, Dogecoin (DOGE) jumped 6.91% to $0.1261, and Solana (SOL) advanced 1.00% to $126.51. Avalanche (AVAX) surged 9.67% to $13.52, Shiba Inu (SHIB) climbed 6.80% to $0.057398, Aptos (APT) soared 11.29% to $1.84, and Pi (PI) edged up 0.34% to $0.2044.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Pepe (PEPE) recorded the largest 24-hour gain with a 21.05% increase, while Hyperliquid (HYPE) posted the steepest decline, falling 5.44%.
