The cryptocurrency market recorded mixed performance on January 9, with most major digital assets trading lower while a few posted gains.
According to CoinMarketCap, as of 11:00 AM KST on January 9, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.44% to $90,954.96, while Ethereum (ETH) dropped 2.24% to $3,101.89. XRP (XRP) declined 3.13% to $2.11, and Dogecoin (DOGE) slid 3.68% to $0.1418. Solana (SOL) rose 1.13% to $138.20, while Avalanche (AVAX) slipped 2.10% to $13.88. Shiba Inu (SHIB) fell 1.52% to $0.058698, Aptos (APT) dropped 4.84% to $1.79, and Pi (PI) edged up 0.17% to $0.2097.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, JasmyCoin (JASMY) recorded the largest day-on-day gain, rising 9.78%, while Zcash (ZEC) posted the steepest decline, falling 10.48%.
Other notable altcoins included Obol (OBOL), which gained 3.26% to trade at $0.02868, while Aleo (ALEO) slipped 1.02% to $0.1198.
Several new cryptocurrencies were listed on CoinMarketCap within the past 24 hours, including PEPENODE (PEPENODE), Horse (HORSE), Dominion (DOM), The9bit (9BIT), 我踏马来了 (我踏马来了), and Mirror Finance (MFI).
