The cryptocurrency market recorded gains on May 4, with most major digital assets trading higher.

According to CoinMarketCap, as of 11:00 AM KST on May 4, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 1.81% to $79,617.48, while Ethereum (ETH) increased 1.99% to $2,348.40. XRP (XRP) gained 1.43% to $1.40, and TRON (TRX) climbed 2.42% to $0.3383. Solana (SOL) advanced 1.33% to $84.84, while Dogecoin (DOGE) surged 4.39% to $0.1123. Avalanche (AVAX) rose 1.24% to $9.19, Bittensor (TAO) increased 1.74% to $287.64, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) jumped 8.18% to $0.05955, and Worldcoin (WLD) edged up 0.31% to $0.2397.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, BUILDon (B) posted the largest 24-hour gain, rising 29.13%, while Terra Classic (LUNC) recorded the steepest decline with an 8.67% drop.

Other notable altcoins included Quai Network (QUAI), which rose 1.13% to $0.03206, and Aleo (ALEO), which fell 4.45% to $0.04237.

A new cryptocurrency was listed on CoinMarketCap within the past 24 hours, including Baby Asteroid ($BABYASTEROID).
