The cryptocurrency market recorded mixed performance on May 5, with major digital assets showing slight gains and declines.

According to CoinMarketCap, as of 11:00 AM KST on May 5, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 0.67% to $80,389.36, while Ethereum (ETH) edged up 0.07% to $2,366.01. XRP (XRP) fell 0.49% to $1.39, and TRON (TRX) gained 0.85% to $0.3406. Solana (SOL) slipped 0.57% to $84.56, while Dogecoin (DOGE) declined 0.69% to $0.1111. Avalanche (AVAX) increased 0.43% to $9.26, Bittensor (TAO) rose 0.13% to $288.58, World Liberty Financial (WLFI) surged 8.73% to $0.06398, and Worldcoin (WLD) dipped 0.56% to $0.2391.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Toncoin (TON) posted the largest 24-hour gain, rising 27.23%, while MemeCore (M) recorded the steepest decline with a 10.62% drop.

Other notable altcoins included Quai Network (QUAI), which fell 5.48% to $0.03044, and Aleo (ALEO), which slipped 0.39% to $0.04226.

Several new cryptocurrencies were listed on CoinMarketCap within the past 24 hours, including America is Back (AIB), Recon Raccoon (RCON), Asteroid Doge (ASTEROIDOGE), and Unipeg (UPEG).
