The cryptocurrency market moved lower on October 7, with Bitcoin and Ethereum both declining while Avalanche gained more than 3%. LayerZero posted the strongest gain among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, while Mantle recorded the steepest decline.

According to CoinMarketCap at 10:00 a.m. KST on October 7, Bitcoin (BTC) fell 0.81% from the previous day to $85,261.51. Ethereum (ETH) declined 1.17% to $2,684.42, while XRP fell 0.96% to $1.49.
Solana (SOL) slipped 0.85% to $119.97. Tron (TRX) fell 0.34% to $0.3351, while Dogecoin (DOGE) declined 1.75% to $0.0935.
Avalanche (AVAX) rose 3.25% to $11.52. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) gained 2.09% to $0.05583, while Worldcoin (WLD) fell 3.39% to $0.5528.
Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, LayerZero (ZRO) gained 8.25%, recording the strongest rise. Mantle (MNT), meanwhile, posted the biggest decline at 8.95%.
Other notable altcoins showed mixed performance. Quai Network (QUAI) rose 3.99% to $0.009881, while Aleo (ALEO) declined 3.81% to 0.02691.
