The cryptocurrency market rebounded on September 1, with Bitcoin climbing above $78,200 while Arbitrum (ARB) emerged as the top-performing asset among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, according to CoinMarketCap.

According to CoinMarketCap at 11:00 a.m. KST on Sept. 1, Bitcoin (BTC) rose 0.54% from the previous day to $78,246.07, while Ethereum (ETH) gained 1.66% to $2,457.38, as major cryptocurrencies broadly moved higher.

XRP climbed 1.56% to $1.37, while Solana (SOL) rose 1.03% to $103.05. Dogecoin (DOGE) gained 0.74% to $0.08277, and Avalanche (AVAX) advanced 1.27% to $7.24.

Tron (TRX) was one of the few major cryptocurrencies to decline, slipping 1.21% to $0.332. World Liberty Financial (WLFI) edged up 0.15% to $0.05742, while Worldcoin (WLD) gained 1.26% to $0.3648.

Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, Arbitrum (ARB) recorded the biggest 24-hour gain, soaring 31.73%. Polygon (POL) posted the steepest decline, falling 4.71%.

Elsewhere in the altcoin market, QUAI fell 4.18% to $0.008367, while ALEO edged up 0.48% to $0.01718.

CoinMarketCap also added two newly listed cryptocurrencies over the past 24 hours: JUAN (JUAN) and Optimus (OPTIMUS).
