Ethereum price prediction talk is heating up again this week. ETH is trading close to $1,830, sitting right at a level that traders have watched for months.
Some charts point down. Some point way up. That mix is exactly why this Ethereum price prediction matters right now.
Big wallets are also moving. One fresh wallet just pulled 10,000 ETH off Binance and staked all of it. That is not a small trade.
Where Is Ethereum Price Right Now
Ethereum has been stuck in a tight range for weeks. Recent prints show the coin moving between roughly $1,780 and $1,945.
The 50-day EMA sits near $1,801. The 100-day EMA is close to $1,944. The 200-day EMA, a bigger long-term marker, is up near $2,217.
That stack of averages tells a simple story. It needs to clear $1,945 before anyone can talk seriously about a bigger breakout.

What Traders Are Saying About ETH Right Now
Crypto Rover, a well-known chart watcher, thinks Ethereum is testing a multi-year trendline. He says a break under that line could trigger a sharp move down before any run toward $10,000.
That kind of call is common in crypto. A dip before a bigger rally, sometimes called a shakeout, is a pattern traders have seen before.
On the other side, analyst Celal Kucuker laid out a longer roadmap for ETH. His chart shows past targets already hit at $1,500 and $1,800.
His next markers run from $2,300 up through $2,900, $3,600, and eventually $6,330 and higher. He argues 2026 could be the year ETH sets a fresh all-time high.
Both views can be true at different times. Short-term weakness and a longer bullish path are not always in conflict.
Whale Activity Adds to the Ethereum Price Prediction Picture
On-chain tracker Lookonchain flagged a newly created wallet that withdrew 10,000 ETH, worth about $18.6 million, from Binance. The wallet staked the entire amount right away.
Large holders moving coins into staking usually signals confidence. It also removes that ETH from active trading supply, at least for a while.
This kind of accumulation often gets attention because it happens quietly, away from headlines, until someone tracks the wallet.
Security Risk Still Follows ETH Gains
Not all Ethereum news this week is bullish. Allbridge was exploited for close to $1.65 million. The attacker moved stolen funds from Solana to Ethereum and swapped them into ETH.
Bridge hacks like this are a reminder that DeFi risk has not gone away, even as prices recover. Anyone holding funds on cross-chain bridges should watch wallet activity tied to known exploit addresses.
Ethereum Price Prediction: Short Term Outlook
For the near term, the altcoin looks range-bound. A daily close above $1,801 would open the door toward $1,960.
Losing the $1,718 support zone could bring another leg lower first. That lines up with the trendline test that Crypto Rover pointed out.
Ethereum's price this month has swung between $1,780 and $1,945, so traders should expect more choppy action before a clear direction sets in.
Ethereum Price Forecast: Longer Term View
Zooming out, the picture gets more interesting. If the altcoin clears resistance near $2,880 and then $4,300, the $6,330 level from Kucuker's roadmap becomes a realistic target.
Beyond that, some analysts, including voices cited by Fortune, have floated $10,000 as a longer-run target using Fibonacci extension levels. A few, like Standard Chartered, have gone even further with multi-year forecasts.
