Crypto analyst Michaël van de Poppe stated in a new assessment published today on X that he sees stronger volatility in altcoins compared to Bitcoin. The analyst explained that he is maintaining his current positions.
According to Van de Poppe, while Ethereum’s outlook is positive, a critical resistance zone needs to be overcome for the uptrend to continue. The analyst stated that he maintains his expectation that altcoins could outperform the rest of the market.
In this scenario, Van de Poppe, who assigned a special role to Ethereum, argued that the movement he expected in altcoins should develop under the leadership of ETH. His phrase for the market, if the resistance zone is overcome, was “party time.”
The analyst also emphasized in his statement that instead of reducing his positions, he remained fully invested. Thus, despite the weakness in the market, he did not back down from his altcoin expectations.
Van de Poppe had also stated earlier in the day that market sentiment had become extremely negative and that he was buying on dips. His latest Ethereum assessment was a continuation of this approach.
