Why Hemp?

It’s one of the most resource-efficient plants on Earth. It grows faster than cotton, uses a fraction of the water, and produces no microplastics. The reason it never made it into mainstream fashion is simple: raw hemp fiber is stiff and rough. Genuinely unwearable as a premium textile.

The $HEMPY team cracked this by using enzymes to break down lignin, the compound responsible for that stiffness, without any harsh chemicals. The result is a soft, breathable, durable fiber that’s now ready to be worn. This hoodie is the first proof that the process works at product scale.
