Interhash expands into AI and High-Performance Computing

Company launches first servers for artificial intelligence workloads.

CEO of Interhash Alexander Lozben announced at the Bitcoin 2026 event in Las Vegas that the company has deployed its first infrastructure designed for high-performance computing and artificial intelligence tasks.

Infrastructure used for Bitcoin mining and AI data processing is built on the same fundamental principles. Both rely on stable power supply, efficient cooling systems, and purpose-built facilities. The main differences lie in the hardware stack and the economic model applied to operations. Leveraging nearly ten years of experience in building mining infrastructure, Interhash has begun adapting its existing capacities to support new types of computational workloads beyond traditional crypto mining.

“As a result, Interhash improves asset utilization by ensuring infrastructure generates value across different market conditions. The flexibility to allocate capacity between mining and AI compute allows us to prioritize the highest-margin workload at any given time. Ultimately, this hybrid model strengthens margin stability and positions Interhash as a more resilient, multi-vertical compute operator”, – said Alexander Lozben.

The company views this transition as a way to enhance operational stability. Its infrastructure can now be deployed across multiple use cases, depending on market dynamics. This flexibility enables real-time allocation of resources between Bitcoin mining and AI workloads, allowing the company to maintain efficiency even during shifts in profitability.

Such a hybrid approach reduces dependence on crypto market volatility while improving overall asset utilization. In the long term, Interhash aims to evolve into a unified platform capable of supporting a wide range of compute-intensive applications.

At the same time, Bitcoin mining remains a core component of the business. AI computing is positioned as an additional growth direction rather than a replacement. Both segments are expected to develop in parallel as part of a broader infrastructure strategy.
