From Aave to Binance
The transfer wasn't a simple one-step move. Before sending the ETH to Binance, the wallet first withdrew around 1,439 ETH from Aave, a decentralized lending protocol where users can deposit crypto assets to earn yield.
In simple terms, West's wallet pulled its Ethereum out of a yield-earning position and consolidated it before routing the funds to the centralized exchange.
Crypto analyst @ai_9684xtpa flagged the activity on X, noting that this was the wallet's first deposit to an exchange since October 2025. the analyst which described it as coinciding with the peak of the previous bull market.

$26.7 million still on-chain
According to on-chain data, the wallet still holds crypto assets worth approximately $26.7 million.
The address has a documented history of large ETH movements and interactions with DeFi protocols, short for decentralized finance, a category of blockchain-based financial services that operate without traditional intermediaries like banks.
West has been an increasingly visible figure in crypto.
In early 2025, he publicly rejected a $2 million offer to promote a fraudulent token and later expressed interest in building a legitimate crypto project.
He went on to launch YZY, a token built on the Solana blockchain and tied to his Yeezy brand. Its value surged to about $3 billion after launch before falling to roughly $349 million.
That history puts the latest wallet movement under closer watch.
A deposit to a centralized exchange like Binance typically signals an intent to sell or trade, though the wallet's next move remains unclear.
