In our last Cardano weekly prediction, we outlined three possible paths for ADA, with the bullish case calling for a break above $0.23 and a move toward $0.24, as the bearish setup pointed to $0.20 and potentially $0.19.

ADA ultimately followed the weaker path, dropping toward $0.20 before recovering slightly. The Cardano price is now trading at $0.2077, down 0.03%, as trading volume has fallen by 70%. That decline in volume shows that participation has cooled as ADA struggles to reclaim higher levels. With the market facing fresh macro pressure, new developments around Cardano and Midnight, and key technical levels nearby, the question now is whether buyers can defend $0.20 or whether another leg lower could follow. Here’s where ADA could go this week.

News Pushing Cardano Price Lately

Cardano faced heavy liquidation pressure during the latest CPI-driven volatility, with roughly $2.06 million in ADA positions wiped out on centralized exchanges. Long positions accounted for about $1.89 million of the total, compared with roughly $174,080 in shorts, showing that bullish traders took most of the damage. The liquidation wave came as ADA moved toward the $0.20 area, forcing over-leveraged traders out of their positions.

The August CPI report also added pressure to the broader crypto market. Core inflation came in hotter than expected, increasing concerns around Federal Reserve policy and triggering large price swings across Bitcoin, Ethereum and altcoins. ADA derivatives were pulled into the same macro move, making open interest and funding rates important metrics to watch as traders decide whether to rebuild leveraged positions.

Another development that could support the Cardano price is the planned integration of ADA trading into Germany’s Volksbanken cooperative banking network. A large majority of the banks are expected to complete MiCA notification and activate meinKrypto during Q4 2026, allowing customers to buy ADA alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum and Litecoin through the VR Banking App. This gives Cardano access to a regulated retail channel and could broaden ADA demand if the rollout attracts meaningful trading activity.

Charles Hoskinson also raised concerns about privacy when using cloud-based AI models, linking the issue to Cardano’s Midnight network. His argument is that private infrastructure could allow AI-related workloads to operate without exposing sensitive information to platform operators. The development does not directly change the Cardano price, but it gives Midnight a use case tied to a growing technology sector.

Midnight is also changing how it supports ecosystem growth, with its dedicated developer-relations team being wound down and AI tools taking a larger role in helping non-technical builders. The idea is to make participation easier for people who may not have traditional coding skills. The outcome will depend on whether these tools translate into actual applications and sustained activity across the network.

Why Cardano Still Has a Fundamental Case

A post on X listed five reasons for Cardano’s design: peer-reviewed research, liquid staking without locking ADA or slashing, predictable fees, thousands of stake pools with saturation rules, and on-chain governance supported by a treasury.

These features support staking flexibility, decentralization and ecosystem funding. They do not guarantee a higher Cardano price this week, but they provide a fundamental case if market conditions improve.

Here’s What the Cardano Chart Is Showing

We had a look at the chart, and the structure is mixed but still tilted bearish. ADA reached about $0.258 in late August, dropped toward $0.173, then recovered to around $0.23 in early September. That recovery failed to hold, and the market has formed lower highs, bringing the Cardano price back to $0.2077.

The $0.20 area is the first major support. A break below it puts $0.19 and then $0.173-$0.1709 in view. On the upside, $0.2115 is the first level ADA needs to reclaim, followed by $0.22-$0.23.

RSI is around 44.9, below the 50 midpoint, so buyers have yet to regain control. Stochastic is around 44.4, with the faster line above the slower line, giving a modest bullish signal. The 70% volume drop limits confirmation behind that momentum.

Where Will Cardano Price Go This Week?

The bullish path puts the Cardano price at $0.24 if ADA reclaims $0.2115 and breaks $0.23. A move through $0.24 could open $0.258, with $0.27 possible on stronger altcoin demand.

The neutral path keeps ADA between $0.20 and $0.23. Buyers need to defend $0.20-$0.2115, but repeated failures at $0.23 could keep the ADA price range-bound.

The bearish path begins with a clean break below $0.20. That would put $0.19 and then $0.173-$0.1709 in focus, with $0.16 as the deeper target if that zone fails. With RSI below 50 and volume weak, this remains the key downside risk.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can Cardano price reach $0.24 this week❓

Yes, but ADA would first need to reclaim $0.2115 and break above the $0.23 resistance. If buyers clear $0.24, the next targets could be $0.258 and potentially $0.27.

Why is Cardano price falling❓

Recent weakness has been linked to broader crypto volatility, CPI-driven liquidations and lower trading volume. ADA also remains below key resistance levels, with RSI around 44.9 indicating that buyers have yet to regain control.

Is Cardano a good cryptocurrency to buy❓

Cardano has several fundamental strengths, including liquid staking, predictable fees, decentralized stake pools and on-chain governance. The planned German banking integration and Midnight’s privacy and AI initiatives could also support the ecosystem, although they do not guarantee a higher ADA price.
