US spot XRP ETFs have now drawn a record $1.8 billion in cumulative net inflows since their launch in Nov, 2025, according to SoSoValue data.

The milestone comes with a catch. The funds took in just $708,520 on Oct. 21, and demand has cooled sharply in recent weeks.

A strong start, then a slowdown

XRP ETFs began with a bang.

After launching last Nov, they drew inflows for 35 straight trading days, a streak Bitcoin and Ethereum funds never matched. They crossed $1 billion faster than any crypto ETF except Bitcoin’s.

The pace has since slowed. The SoSoValue data showed that XRP funds recorded zero net flows on Oct. 9, Oct. 12 and Oct. 13, while Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $175.6 million on the last of those days.

Trading volume in XRP funds fell to $20.5 million on Oct. 13, the lowest of the month.

Price tells a different story

The inflow record hasn’t helped XRP’s price. The token trades near $1.31, down about 4.6% in the past day and roughly 64% below its all-time high of $3.65 set in July 2025.

That gap shows up in the funds themselves. As of Oct. 13, XRP ETFs held about $1.56 billion in net assets, less than the money investors had put in, as XRP’s price has fallen since much of that cash arrived.

Last week on Oct. 15, XRP fell about 4.6% to roughly $1.30. Crypto analyst said it could drain further, down to around $1.25, before buyers wash back in and lift the price toward $1.60.

Ali Martinez said $1.25 is where he sees a potential buying opportunity. A bounce from there could give XRP the strength to climb to the channel's midpoint at $1.42, or even the top of the range at $1.60.

Some traders hope the funds reach $2 billion soon if buying picks up. For now, that would take a sharp return of demand that has yet to show up.
