XRP continues to see significant trading activity on South Korea’s crypto market, with the XRP/KRW pair taking the top position on Upbit on September 11. Crypto researcher BankXRP highlighted the figures, showing that XRP maintained strong turnover even as overall activity on the exchange declined.

BankXRP reported that Upbit recorded $1.02 billion in total 24-hour trading volume on September 11. That figure is an 18% decline from the previous day. Despite the drop in overall exchange activity, XRP/KRW accounted for 9.02% of Upbit’s total volume.

The pair recorded $95.15 million in 24-hour trading volume. This placed XRP/KRW at the top of the exchange’s trading board for the period highlighted.

BankXRP wrote, “Upbit’s $XRP/KRW pair is holding strong”

The researcher also noted the significance of XRP’s performance within the Korean market. BankXRP concluded the post, “Korea keeps showing up for XRP.”

XRP Remains a Major Upbit Trading Pair

The figures show XRP’s activity on one of South Korea’s major cryptocurrency exchanges. Even with Upbit’s total volume falling to $1.02 billion, XRP still generated nearly one-tenth of the platform’s daily turnover.

The attached Upbit data also shows XRP/KRW occupying the top position among the listed spot markets. XRP surpasses Ethereum and Bitcoin in the displayed ranking, reinforcing the trading activity surrounding the Korean won-denominated XRP market.

The screenshot shows XRP trading at $1.38 on the XRP/KRW pair, with a 24-hour volume of about $171.87 million in the displayed market snapshot. It also shows XRP accounting for 13.7% of the exchange’s displayed 24-hour volume at that point.

These figures differ from the September 11 numbers cited by BankXRP. This indicates that the screenshot captures a separate market snapshot. However, both place XRP/KRW among Upbit’s most active markets.

Korean Traders Continue to Favor XRP

BankXRP’s post also places the September 11 figures within the researcher’s view of XRP’s position in South Korea. The $95.15 million turnover shows that the token retained substantial trading activity during a day when Upbit’s overall volume contracted.

XRP’s position on Upbit has also been notable during periods of increased market activity. The data supplied with BankXRP’s analysis points to a late-August surge in which XRP/KRW recorded more than $418 million in daily volume.

For BankXRP, the September 11 figures indicate XRP trading strength in South Korea. The XRP/KRW pair remained the exchange’s leading market despite the decline in total daily volume, keeping XRP firmly among the most actively traded assets on Upbit.
