Key Insights
- Ethereum price traded at $2,341.12, while Ted Pillows identified $2,200 as a potential buyer area.
- Spot Ethereum ETFs recorded a $484.36 million combined net outflow across seven sessions through Oct. 22.
- BitMine staked 159,728 ETH as the Ethereum Foundation postponed Hoodi’s Oct. 26 activation.
Ethereum price sat at $2,341.12 after a 1.3% gain over 24 hours, as spot ETF withdrawals continued. ETH price moved between $2,286.76 and $2,368.07 during the period. It recovered from the daily low, reached the range’s upper end, then retreated before returning above $2,340.
Meanwhile, analyst Ted Pillows reported a lack of ETH spot buyers and identified $2,200 as a potential buying area.
That daily range brought the market close to the level Pillows identified. The $2,286.76 low stood $86.76, or 3.9%, above $2,200. His Ethereum price prediction placed a reversal above $3,000 after buying emerged around that level.
However, the weekly chart and ETF figures recorded separate price and fund-flow data.
Ethereum Price Levels Center on $2,200
On the longer weekly view, Ethereum traded near $2,327 on Binance, below the $2,350 level marked as initial support. Ted’s chart placed the next support zone between $2,165 and $2,200.
Its 20-week Bollinger Band basis stood at $2,165.15, aligning with that area. The lower Bollinger Band stood at $1,416.74.

Above that support zone, ETH had stalled below a $2,800 resistance area. The upper Bollinger Band stood at $2,913.56. The chart labeled $3,447 as the next resistance zone.
Accordingly, Ethereum price would need to reclaim $2,350 and clear the $2,800–$2,914 range before reaching $3,000. The chart listed $1,965 and $1,713 as lower support levels below the $2,165–$2,200 area.
Beyond the weekly technical levels, CoinGecko listed Ethereum’s market capitalization at $286.04 billion. It reported $7.79 billion in 24-hour trading volume and $42.52 billion in perpetual futures open interest.
ETH price was down 2.3% over seven days and 13.2% over 30 days. It listed ETH at 0.02904 BTC, unchanged over 24 hours. Its circulating supply stood at 122.161 million ETH.
ETF Outflows Add Flow Data to Ethereum Price
The Ethereum price prediction coincided with continued spot Ethereum ETF withdrawals. SoSoValue data showed $110.50 million in net outflows on Oct. 22.
The funds recorded withdrawals in six of seven trading sessions between Oct. 14 and Oct. 22. Oct. 21 delivered the only positive session, with a $14.96 million net inflow.

More specifically, the data recorded outflows of $129.51 million on Oct. 14. It also recorded outflows of $60.22 million on Oct. 15 and $69.68 million on Oct. 16.
The figures then showed $103.28 million leaving on Oct. 19 and $26.13 million on Oct. 20. After the Oct. 21 inflow, the Oct. 22 record returned to outflows.
Across those seven sessions, combined net flows reached a $484.36 million outflow. Cumulative net inflows dropped from $13.20 billion on Oct. 13 to $12.71 billion.
Total net assets stood at $14.57 billion, while daily ETF trading volume totaled $550.22 million. The prior entry listed $15.36 billion in assets and $695.73 million in trading volume.
BitMine Staking and Hoodi Testnet Delay
Despite negative ETF data tracking fund flows, on-chain data has recorded a separate Ethereum treasury transaction. On Oct. 21, BitMine added 159,728 ETH, valued at $390.6 million, to staking.
According to Lookonchain, the transaction lifted BitMine’s staked balance above 5.227 million ETH. The tracker calculated that BitMine had placed almost 86.5% of its Ethereum treasury into staking.
After the staking update, Ethereum development work changed the following day. On Oct. 22, the Ethereum Foundation postponed Glamsterdam’s Hoodi testnet activation. Developers had scheduled the activation for Oct. 26.
The foundation linked the change to concerns around EIP-8037 and existing mainnet contracts.
Consequently, the postponement removed Hoodi’s planned gas-limit increase to 200 million from that activation. The foundation did not announce a replacement Hoodi testnet date. Ethereum’s mainnet upgrade also had no confirmed schedule. Its Oct. 22 notice superseded earlier activation instructions.
