Gaming creator TGG described three types of money after a private preview: bank deposits, cash, and stolen valuables in a duffel bag. Crypto was not on the list.

Rockstar also restricted crypto and NFT deals on third-party role-playing servers in November 2022.

There is no proof that Rockstar launched, partnered with, or endorsed the token. The in-game joke looks more like a jab at crypto hype.

The token launched around October 11, days before the trailer. Leaker Cyberleek had shared gameplay showing Dacity Coin. The token hit about $1M in market cap, then lost steam.

After the trailer, market cap rose from roughly $104K to nearly $3.18M in one hour. That is more than 29x. Buyers then pushed it close to $6M before a pullback.
